The problem

Exact Fit sells facility and home services, from AC servicing and plumbing to fit-out. Customers needed one place to see what’s on offer, what it costs, and where their booking stands.

What I designed

The customer app: browse and book services, subscribe to yearly maintenance plans, track bookings, raise enquiries and support tickets, and call for emergency help, all in one place.

Design decisions

  1. Plans up front. Yearly packages sit on the home screen next to the service grid, because a subscription is worth more to the business than a one-off job.
  2. A service grid you can scan. AC, electrical, plumbing, pest control, handyman, painting, gardening and cleaning, each with a recognisable illustration.
  3. Details before commitment. Every service page explains what’s covered and lists the specific issues it fixes, with an enquiry button always in reach.
  4. A checkout that shows the maths. Quantities, discount, taxes and the total are visible before paying, so there are no surprises.
  5. Sign-in without passwords. Mobile number plus OTP, because that’s how people in the UAE expect a service app to work.

Also in the app

  • Addresses, profile, payments and notifications
  • Emergency service requests
  • Subscription and package management
